PillowBook/Brody Neuenschwander

I wasnt actually too fond of the pillow book movie itself as im not too into the old style movies nor traditional calligraphy. The story itself was good, but it was a little too boring for my taste. However, the artwork and calligraphy/typography done by Brody Neuenshcwander was really neat and i enjoyed sifting through his gallery and bio on his website. I really like different types of lettering and im fascinated that this can all be done with a brush and different tools on paper and does not need to be generated on a computer or digitally. i always find myself trying to write out letters in different styles and typefaces and i enjoyed looking through Brody’s art and seeing the connection it had to that of the content in the pillowbook.ImageImage
